Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handing complex tax issues faced by US, non-publicly traded entities with extensive operations in Korea
Identifying and addressing the company’s needs
Participating in discussions and meetings with Headquarter
Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues
Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner
General ledger accounting and work paper preparation
Monitor/Analyze financial accounting data & Financial statement preparation
Business and individual tax return preparation
Withholding tax return for U.S. source income of foreign entities
Internal audit preparation
Payroll tax and sales tax return preparation
Adjusting Entry & Bank Reconciliation
Other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Authorized to legally work in the United States
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with basic knowledge of general accounting
Minimum 3 years career in Public Accounting Firm
Possess excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must have the ability to effectively communicate, in English and Korean, both verbally and in writing
Passion and fascination for construction
